Design Contacts Manager Midlands Area Based Derby/Peterborough

My long established client is seeking an experienced Design& Contracts Manager - Midlands Area. Reporting to the Area Manager- Midlands the location can be eitherDerbyorPeterborough. You will have overall responsibility for securing circa £2, per annum of profitable contracting works relating to refrigeration and process cooling installations. You must show the capability to widen to customer base to include new contracts and customers within the refrigeration industry not at present doing business with my client. You will be required to undertaken Contract execution involving design, purchasing and contract management.

Accountabilities will include:

To accurately estimate projects identifying the correct tailored solution to meet the customer’s requirements. To allocate sub contract labour for the installation of the contract with specific responsibility for satisfactory technical and financial results. To carry out design and project management, to discuss and agree sales margins with management and to ensure that these margins are achieved and maintained at contract completion.

The suitable candidate will need to have a recognised refrigeration time service apprenticeship, with a minimum of 5 years experience in the industrial refrigeration industry and have proven design, project management and refrigeration know-how. The suitable candidate will need to proactive and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
