Job Role
The duties of the Design Co-ordinator include dealing with all aspects of customer relations via telephone and email. Production of detailed specifications using drawings provided, complete order processing and raise purchase orders. Liasing with internal and external teams to deal with any problems that may arise. The post demands excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to deal with a variety of situations within busy and pressurised environment.
Key Responsibilities
Resolving customer issues via email, phone and fax
Raise purchase orders, returns and credits
Produce detailed specifications from drawings
Liase with internal and external groups
General administration duties
Maintain set Key Performance Indicator data
Key Skills and Experience
Good Keyboard skills
The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a busy team
Problem solving
A Customer service background
Excellent eye for detail, process driven with a methodical approach
A working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
