Deputy Nursing Home Manager - Dementia/Elderly Care

My client is is currently seeking an experienced hands on qualified nurse for the role Deputy Manager within their well established nursing home.

The home specialises in a high standard of care for dementia, care of the elderly and may also include palliative care

Duties within the role include overlooking the clinical aspects within the unit, staff management and supervision, assisting with the day to day management of the home, leading and mentoring a stable dedicated care team (nurses and care assistants) and liaising with local authorities, residents/family member and also other healthcare professionals. For this exciting role you will need to be/have:

• Nurse qualified (RGN or RMN) with a current valid NMC PIN
• Experience working at a senior or supervisory level (ideally within a residential or nursing home environment)
• Extensive experience in caring for dementia and the elderly
