SUMMARY:
Provide implementation and general consultancy services for SCM products to existing and new clients in accordance with objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver Supply Chain Solutions to Clients, implementing applications in the product portfolio
- Assist the realisation of business benefits for clients
- Manage or contribute client project plans
- Monitor progress against milestone dates and critical success factors
- Define the client resources required for successful implementation
- Provide detailed user and technical training to client staff
- Provide guidance on the development of a supply chain process
- Match software functionality with client business requirements
- Assist the integration of the software into the client business processes
- Define and specify client customisation requests to software laboratories
- Conduct and report appropriate project risk analyses
- Identify and report project performance and evaluation measures
- Review the overall success of projects and provide recommendations
- Provide regular internal reports on the status of projects
- Maintain product knowledge and skills
- Attend product functionality briefings and training sessions
- Utilise part of non-billable time for self-study
- Tutor internal training courses to gain relevant practice
- Maintain general supply chain knowledge from other sources of information
- Provide relevant input into software development process
- Undertake specific team projects as required
- Generate consultancy revenue from existing client base
- Maintain regular contact with clients
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of clients’ usage of the software
- Identify and report commercial opportunities and risks
- Identify opportunities for additional consultancy work
- Tutor public software courses
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Education and experience preferably in Business Economics, IT or Logistics
- Relevant supply-chain related and/or ERP related work experience from an internal, vendor or consultancy perspective
- Extensive process knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Demand Planning
- Advanced Planning
- Advanced Scheduling
- Sales & Operation Planning
- Knowledge of Database Management Systems like MS SQL Server and Oracle is a plus.
- A professional level of English. Any other language knowledge is a plus.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Persuasive, results-orientated and practical
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently or in a team environment
- Willing to work on projects all over the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa)

LOCATION: Flexible (working on clients sites, Midlands Head Office or from Home)
