Capita is the leading provider of business process outsourcing services in the UK, specialising in the transformation and management of existing process as well as the implementation of new service infrastructures on behalf of third parties. We have a team based in Leeds called Capita Financial Group, who provide investment fund administration solutions across a wide variety of fund structures and asset classes. We are looking for a Postal Dealing Administrator to carry out dealing instructions in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, and in line with regulatory requirements.
As the Dealing Administrator, you will be tasked with carrying out dealing instructions in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, and in line with regulatory requirements. You will process applications received by the department via post, fax, email and telephone, complete vetting and checking of investors applications, update and maintain accuracy of investors records including transfers and cancellations and provide information to investors on request.
To be considered for the role, we are ideally looking for candidates who come with previous Financial Services or Banking background experience, and a strong Admin/Data Entry background requiring high levels of attention to detail. Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pass Credit Reference Checks
Key Responsibilities:
• Creation, Editing and registration of investor records, processing of investor requests, provide information to investors/IFA’s on request
• Resolving complaints and solving problems on behalf of investors/IFA’s
• Assisting the Registration & Settlement Manager respond to Dealing Reviews and Compliance Visits
• Maintain department procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, SLA’s, best practice and Company policies
• Identify instances of non-compliance and refer to the Registration & Settlement Manager, Director of Retail Operations and the Compliance Department, and resolve them
• Maintain training and competence standards
Skills:
• Strong Admin skills/data entry skills
• GCSE Maths & English C+ (or equivalent)
• Excellent attention to details
• Previous Financial Service/FSA experience
• Excellent customer service skills
