Utilitywise plc is looking for an experienced data manager to work at its HQ in South Shields.

With your help our clients can select the best energy supply tariff and a range of products to reduce their energy consumption and lower their carbon footprint. These energy saving products include smart meters, carbon offsetting, state-of-the-art circuit level monitors, energy audits and more. We have ambitious growth plans for 2013 and are now looking for ambitious sales people who are hungry to make money.
The Role
The data manager will be responsible for the way Utilitywise manages and uses prospect and client data, data on competitor activity and price movements. The role will also advise and devise on prospecting and client retention projects using the full power of offline and online techniques.
At its core this role will oversee the data use and information extraction across the group. This will mean analysis of our current prospecting techniques and the development of new ones; analysis of our current customer databases fully understand the data locked away in it. Helping to devise and run direct marketing campaigns.
This is primarily an analysis role and the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate strong analytic techniques and understanding. Basically you will be given data and expected to draw more value from it than we can currently and help us plot a way forward to gain more value out of our prospecting efforts and client communication: a combination of insight and analysis and direct marketing would be ideal.
This role reports into the Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Improving the effectiveness of the prospecting techniques used.
- Devising and testing new prospecting and direct marketing projects.
- Analysis of client data to generate value and insight.
- Building and maintaining energy price model databases.
- Setting up databases.
- Analysis of marketing pipeline activity.
- Creation of operational data analysis procedures to support in depth analysis of sales activity across individuals and teams.
- Analysis of Google Analytics and other internet reporting tools.
