Experto Credite LTD is a growing debt recovery business based in Bracknell.

We are recruiting a Data Analyst to join our Risk Team.

As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for producing and interpreting analysis and reports for the Executive Board and all areas of the business. Building collections scoring models and helping to optimise portfolio performance.

Key Tasks Required:

  • Building collections scoring models (e.g. propensity to pay, geo-demographic, litigation, best time to contact)
  • Benchmarking portfolios and producing expected liquidation curves on an ongoing basis
  • Producing regular and ad-hoc portfolio and operational reports and providing interpretation of the key messages
  • Automation of the portfolio and operational reports
  • Liaising with other departments and assist in producing ad-hoc reports and analysis for them
  • Understand the collections system and its operations
  • Analysing operational data to understand trends and developments and to assist the business in making appropriate decisions
  • Identification, extraction and evaluation of (internal and external) information to increase operational effectiveness.
  • Assist other departments to improve the efficiency with which they handle information.

You must have:

  • Understanding of the analytical techniques required to perform statistical analysis (e.g. multivariate and regression analysis).
  • Working knowledge of SAS, SQL or Access (expertise in other statistical packages will be also considered)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong problem solving and investigation skills
  • Able to communicate, both verbally and written, complex statistical concepts to a wider audience.
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Practical experience of statistical modelling would be advantageous
