Data Analyst - Developmental Role

Our client is looking for a very strong Data Analyst, must be proficient in Excel and able to manipulate data at all levels using Excel (Formulas , Graphs, V Look Ups, Pivot Tables.)

This role will suit an ambitious and strong Data Analyst who loves working with high volume data but who also has strong commercial awareness.

Working with all areas of stock movement and parts you will need to be able to retrieve and identify all manner of information from high volume data, such as fast moving and slow moving stock, market sector information, account usage information, competitor activity, marketing trends, review product sales, trends and profitability.

Previous experience of the Engineering Industry would be a distinct advantage but is not essential, although suitable candidates will be highly numerate, have excellent attention to detail and be happy Manipulating information in various ways for both day to day operational information and for Management Information usage.

Please note that this role is not a finance based role. You will need excellent planning and forecasting skills, and be able to intelligently analyse market and corporate data.
