We are currently recruiting for a sales administrator/analyst to work on a full time basis for our client, a global leader in their field.
Job Description
work as part of the UK Sales data team. The purpose of the role is to analyse and prepare large volumes of data using Excel for the use of managers and distributors. You will be working closely with the IT department and European Warehousing team and take responsibility for ensuring internal data integrity and making sure there are robust systems always in place.
Key Duties:
• Close liaison with Key Distributors and major customers, both externally and internally
• Validation of the integrity of large volumes of data received from Distributors
• Use of VBA macro’s to prepare data suitable for upload into local data warehouse
• Investigation and cleansing of output errors to enable further processing
• Development of control processes with Distributors to ensure timely and validity of data
• Working with other members of the team and key departments to help define data requirements, influence the development of appropriate processes and systems to collect sales data.

Person Specification
This is a highly analytical role which requires advanced use of Excel and the ability to manage large volumes of data whilst maintaining excellent accuracy and attention to detail in your work. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate would have worked with large volumes of data for around 2+ years where data is extracted/uploaded and manipulated for analysis of trends, integrity and quality
Other skills and experience needed:
• Some understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse principles
• Experience of data analysis in support of data warehousing
• Able to develop and document existing data mapping and processes
• Have the skill to assess the initial 'Fit for Purpose' findings and make any appropriate amendments based on company guidelines
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to self develop, have good communication skills and is customer focused.
• The candidate will desirably have a relevant qualifications to demonstrate aptitude in business information systems e.g. HND in Business studies, business management or above
• Strong inter personnel skills and ability to work on own initiative
• Advanced level excel
• Some knowledge of simple SQL querying
