An excellent opportunity has arisen for two Commercial Support Executives to join an existing and established team within a global, corporate organisation. If you have excellent communication and organisation skills and are self confident and numerate this role could be what you are loking for.
The Company
My client is a UK subsidiary of a global corporate organisation and has been established for over 50 years. They supply commercial equipment and also maintenance contracts to a variety of different types of organisation throughout the country. As a business they have fantastic staff tenure with many of the team at Head Office having worked for the company for over 10 years. The parent company is a household name with worldwide exposure and a portfolio of clients to match.
The Role
The position is a combination of commercial sales support, order processing and planning. Once sales orders have been won it will be your responsibility to manage the processing of the finance agreements, ordering of equipment, liaising with installation and services departments and communicating timelines and progress to all internal and external parties involved. This is a project based position which means that there will always be multiple deals going through the process at any given time. You would also be expected to review finance agreements and look at how cost effective they are for the business, understand the additional cost implications if the agreement is for an exsting customer and then suggest any amendments necessary to ensure it is a profitable deal. You will also be responsble for general admin suport, resourcing for information for the sales teams and ensuring that all projects are administered effectively. This role is Monday to Friday business hours only.
The Person
The most important thing my client looks for is self confidence and excellent communication skills. A lot of time is spent on the phone to the sales team, finance partners, senior management within the business and, from time to time, customers. Excellent nueracy skills are essential to understand the implications of finance agreements etc. You will be organised with excellent time management skills and have good general IT literacy. The business is growing and evolving so you must be comfortable with change and be keen to work as part of a close team. Previuos experience in sales support, planning and customer service would be an advantage, this is not purely an administration position so please don't apply if you are not comfortable being on the phone for a lot of your day.
A basic salary in the region of £16000-18000 per annum is available and excellent training is available in the role. There is free parking on site and an excellent working environment.
