The Role: Customer Service Team Leader

*  To support the Customer Service Manager to deliver a process of continuous improvement.
*  Support the Customer Service Manager to manage resources to ensure Service levels are maintained at all times.
*  To maintain high levels of Customer Service delivery.
*  To maintain high levels of Service delivery by processing Customer Orders accurately to ensure goods are provided as required. 
*  Meet Call Handling standards as set by the company. 
*  Take ownership and resolve Customer issues within set parameters.
*  Develop positive and straight talking relationships with all team members, direct reports and wider teams.
*  Improved performance against targets
*  To be the pivotal point of communication between Customers and the Company, to ensure that all Customer requirements are satisfied.
*  Work closely with Stock Planners, Despatch Operations and Hauliers.
* Provide timely performance statistics for analysis.
*  Regular reviews with direct reports through the performance management system to ensure that all staff is fully trained and meeting standards.
*  To assist the Customer Service Manager inspiring and motivating the team.
*  Set high standards in Customer Service and stretch goals for self and direct reports.
*  Be ready to make decisions, take the initiative and originate action.


Skills / Qualifications / Experience : Customer Service Team Leader

*  Educated to degree level would be an advantage or equivalent experience.
*  Experience of managing people performance and development.
*  High interpersonal skills to develop and sustain good working relationships with direct reports, team members and wider teams.
*  Knowledge of HR policies.
*  Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
*  Proven problem solving skills
*  Knowledge of IP phone systems
*  Ability and desire to deliver exceptional levels of Customer Service.
* High level of attention to detail.
*  Ability to work in a busy environment.
*  Able to work under own initiative.
