Due to an expansion in business activities, my client based in the Cramlington area is looking to recruit a professional Customer Service Supervisor who will have 2 customer service representatives reporting into them. The ideal candidates will come from the financial sector; ideally a bank, building society, insurance background etc. However, the most important background is an organised, professional team leader with very strong customer service and account management skills. The role is permanent and working hours are 8.30am - 5pm. The salary for this role is £23,000

The role will cover but not be limited to the following:

• In/outbound call handling
• Email handling
• General correspondence
• Payment processing (direct debit setups, card/cheque payments)
• Reporting - this will require the use of work and excel (candidates must be competent with these programmes)
• Upselling products to clients and retention
• Data management

This role will form part of a new team, therefore it’s important the successful candidate is a credible self-starter who will cope competently in a start-up environment.
