The Customer Engagement (retention) Manager will plan and implement a complete end to end customer journey life cycles plan via email, other digital and mobile marketing programs and communications for the client customers. They will work cross functionally to develop strategies and communication programs that will drive retention, increase self service and improve customer satisfaction. They will have responsibility for the development and execution of initiatives working with a variety of internal teams, external agencies and the broader marketing team.
These marketing initiatives will include, but are not limited to: enhancing the online customer portal, mobile and email communications, targeted marketing on the website, management of content and promotions on the website and customer portal and will be focused on driving profitable growth and increased awareness of the business product range.
Competencies & Skills required for the role:
- Passionate about the value of a positive customer experience
- Strong knowledge of online and email marketing technologies and best practices
- Experience in running successful online marketing engagement programmes
- Must have knowledge of online usability
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, negotiating and diplomatic skills required to effectively manage relationships with diverse internal and external contacts
- Must be able to plan and organize major marketing programs and coordinate development of creative and media materials by agencies/vendors and internal creative team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to think strategically, analyse a problem and develop tactics/strategies to drive growth
- Must have 7+ years of marketing experience
- Direct Marketing experience is highly desirable.
