My key client based in Salford Quays in undoubtedly known as the best collections agency in the UK, and have been providing debt recovery services since 1974 on both 3rd Party Account Management and Bought Debt.

My client collects debt on behalf of a number of blue chip clients ranging from High Street Banks, Credit Card providers Utility and Mail Order Companies… they’re always on the lookout for highly motivated people who can add to our already successful and friendly teams.

As a Telephone Negotiator, you will talk directly to customers taking inbound and making outbound calls negotiating outstanding payments and reaching repayment agreements on their debts and also deal with any queries and disputes they may have.

The Call Centre is situated in a brand new office on a small business park close to Salford Quays.

The Call Centre is operational between 8.00am – 8.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am-2.00pm Saturday.
Some details of the hours:

• 35 hour week
• Saturday is one in three
• ‘Lates’ is one in three
• Saturday is 9am-2.00pm
• Work until 7.30pm on Friday of late shift

This is a target focused environment and you will be required to work towards a monthly collections target, you will be given on-going support and training but we do expect you to be self-motivated and enjoy working towards a more than achievable target.

On joining the business you’ll be given a six month training period to achieve the requirements of the position. You will be supported every step of the way, initially by the company Training Team which will take you through your induction training and then by their team of friendly and experienced Sector Managers who will coach you and give you advice on how to achieve your potential.

Call Centre experience is essential along with good keyboard skills and you will need to be a strong communicator to deal with a variety of customers.

You must be determined and target-focused with the ability to think on your feet and be able to adapt to different situations and talk to different people to devise realistic solutions to problems.
