£342 per week (£9.00 per hour)
As a Customer Assistant you will be working on the iconic New Routemaster bus, also known as the New Bus for London. You will be responsible for ensuring passenger safety, helping customers find their way around London and generally being cheerful and helpful on the back of the bus!
You will supervise the rear platform to ensure passengers safely hop on and hop off; plus help those with mobility impairments and provide journey and basic tourist information as well as general passenger assistance. You won't need to collect fares or check tickets, just ensure that passengers have a safe journey, helping passengers and public when needed. As you will be dealing with the public we can guarantee that no two days will be the same!
Customer Assistants provide a high level of customer service, helping regular commuters, occasional travellers and tourists alike. This role involves some shift work - you could start as early as 06.00 hrs (6am) and finish as late as 21.00 hrs (9pm) and you will be working Monday to Friday only.
