Job Title: Customer Analytics Manager-Credit Cards
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + bonus and benefits

The key focus of this role will be to define and implement a spend strategy aimed at profitably driving spend. Initiatives could include developing a product upgrade strategy, implementing new authorisation strategies and driving spend campaigns through low cost channels. This role includes management responsibility.

Responsibilities

1. Develop a spend strategy
- Understand and monitor spend trends across the portfolio and benchmark against the industry (includes authorisations)
- Understand and monitor the competitive landscape, including product offerings and spend initiatives
- Provide analysis and insight to explain spend performance and provide recommendations for spend initiatives
- Develop a medium term spend strategy and test calendar

2. Implement spend initiatives
- Work with teams across the business (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Legal, Risk, Fraud, Product Change) to design and implement initiatives
- Work with the schemes to design and implement initiatives

Skills and Experience

- Analytical: ability to interrogate and manipulate data to (a) ensure data integrity (b) provide insight and recommendations
- Self/ work organisation: ability to manage a variety of tasks, working within a matrix organisation. Examples could include campaign management, customer communication material, customer research briefs etc.
- Presentation/ facilitation: ability to prepare presentations to communicate findings and facilitate discussions
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills
- SAS/ SQL skills
- Previous management experience is a distinct advantage
- At least 3 years experience working in a commercial environment, with an emphasis on analysing performance, developing business cases and implementing initiatives.
