An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Advisor to join the customer service and sales department of a top financial services organisation. The department offers ongoing customer service to existing banking customers. Job Description
• You will be taking inbound calls from valued customers, dealing with a range of queries and providing excellent customer service.
• You will be using your excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with your customer and identify or create a need for further financial products.
• You will be responsible for ensuring bank policies and procedures are adhered to during all conversations with customers.
• You will introduce and set up relevant products and services that meet the needs of the customers, cross selling other banking products and services, and generating referrals as appropriate.
• You will be working towards KPIs, both as an individual and as a team
• Full training will be given, including both theoretical, classroom based training and practical training on the live operational floor.
• You will be working full time hours, with various shift patterns. Most shift patterns include some evenings and weekends and will be allocated in advance.
Person Specification
• Experience of providing excellent customer service
• Experience of working towards sales or other performance targets
• Excellent telephone manner and/or experience of telephone-based sales or customer service
• Self motivation, resilience and a desire to succeed in a targeted sales environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with customers
• Ability to use effective questioning techniques
And:
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers
• A desire to provide customers with a first class banking service
• Ability to meet and be driven by targets
