The Company:
Started over 15 years ago and located in central Ipswich my client are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and specialise in providing Dot Net based web solutions that target private sector businesses and pubic sector (NHS and Local Government) organisations.
The company boasts a plethora of award winning flag ship products. For example their software applications for healthcare organisations make administration duties more effective and efficient. While there Content Management Systems give non technical staff greater control over the website by allowing them to update it without the need for technical specialists.
As a result of a healthy order book and continued demand for their services and expertise they are recruiting for an experienced C#/Asp.Net Web applications developer.
The Requirements:
As a proven IT professional you will be a valued member of the development team. The team work in the Agile SCRUM Methodology and both independently and inconjuction with one another depending on the requirements. You will be given ownership of projects and will work right across the software development lifecyle. You must be comfortable working off your own initiative to develop and deliver the end product. The company is currently using Visual Studios 2010 in the .Net 3.5 and 4.0 framworks with Sql Server 2008 on the back end.
As an example of the kind of project you would be working on the company have recently secured a new NHS contract. This is a web based system to monitor the impact of differnet NHS work streams. The profitabilty of this product is indicative of the excellence of the company's development standards. For example this one web-based system is showing a forecase saving of over 35 million pounds for this year.
With many more projects in the pipeline you can expect to b kept busy developing with the latest Dot Net technologies.
