Salary: €65,000 + bonus & benefits
This is a lead role focused on providing analytics across the breadth of retail portfolios for Germany. The role holder will work directly with the senior management team on key initiatives and will be given the opportunity to become involved in a range of non-analytical tasks to help broaden managerial skills and experience.
Accountabilities
• Manage key acquisition and ECM strategies for the German portfolio within impairment targets through ongoing testing of strategies, regular MI/performance updates, ensuring alignment of execution with strategy, and prompt actions in response to exceptions
• Assist in the optimization and extension of proven strategies, and the development of new ones. Delivery to be based on solid analytics, rounded out by business judgement and effective communication and partnership with Commercial, Finance and Marketing Analytics teams
• Lead the analytics that support and drive the test & learn culture within the team
• Provide adhoc and project based analysis to support the management team on topics that span the portfolios. The candidate will work closely across all credit risk teams like HRAM, Collections, Decision Science, Fraud, Impairment and Portfolio Insight team to gain a holistic view of portfolios.
• Provide management support for credit strategy analysts and graduates and support other projects
• Own the analytics to drive forward growth across products- identify test and learn opportunities, measure the impact of all tests, ensuring consistency and accuracy of credit strategies in this space, enhancing and automating operational/control MI, etc.
Candidate Profile
• Strong SAS skills - with ability to produce high quality value-add analytics with minimal steer
• Highly numerate / statistical knowledge - able to work with numbers and make error free calculations
• Teamwork - Ability to work with and in cross-functional and virtual teams.
• Communication - effectively and concisely communicate key issues and ideas through correspondences and verbally without supervision. Interface with various departments effectively to ensure project delivery.
• Seasoned risk analyst with good all-round knowledge of credit risk processes.
• Numerate degree 2:1 or higher.
• Language - candidate will be fluent in English. Support will be available if candidate is keen to develop German language skills.
