We are now seeking an Experienced Credit Controller to join our credit control team on a temporary basis up to end of September 2012. This position will be based at our prestigious Head Office in Whiteley, Fareham.

 The role will involve:

  • Collecting freelance debt for the required part of the sales ledger.
  • Contacting external clients to facilitate timely debt collections using both e-mail and phone
  • Keeping a daily register of payments received against the ledger
  • Keeping an up to date log of all the conversations regarding outstanding debt
  • Reviewing ledgers to assess age of debts
  • Identifying problem issues and taking remedial action
  • Preparing statements and month end reports
  • Updating information on our in-house database system

This position reports into the Assistant Credit Control Manager and full training will be given. 

You will be self-motivated in order to manage your own workload, however you must also be comfortable working as part of a large team and communicating effectively with other departments and individuals based in locations around the UK. Experience of working within a Recruitment organisation would be a distinct advantage.

Working hours operate on a flexitime system whereby every member of the team will do a "late shift" for 1 week on every 5th week as follows:  8am to 4.30pm for 4 weeks, 9am to 5.30pm for the fifth week.
