Credit Controller - IT Solutions (Part Time)

With vast experience in the supply of hardware, software and professional services, our client is one of the UK's leading multi-vendor IT solution providers specialising in IT infrastructure. An opportunity has now arisen for a Credit Controller to join their team on a part time basis.
This is the ideal role for a finance professional from a credit control background looking to progress their career with a forward thinking company. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide variety of finance-related activities to assess customers' eligibility for products and services for be credited to their accounts.
Monitoring and assessing the credit risk of each new customer, you will set up accounts in a timely and accurate manner. You will undertake a range of credit control duties, including daily banking, calling customers and running invoices and statements.
Liaising with customers, you will chase any outstanding debts, arrange and negotiate acceptable repayments and allocate payments against invoices. Additionally, you will build strong and effective relationships with customers to enable greater efficiency in collecting payments and resolving any disputes or queries.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- At least one year's experience in a similar credit control role
- A good level of IT literacy, especially using MS Excel
As a Credit Controller, you must be highly numerical, analytical and possess strong negotiation skills. Self motivated and meticulous, you must possess a sharp attention to detail and fantastic prioritisation, communication and influencing abilities.
Previous experience of using Sage would be beneficial to your application.
