In January 2009, comparethemarket.com introduced Aleksandr Orlov, owner of comparethemeerkat.com. Explaining the key differences between comparethemeerkat.com and comparethemarket.com, the campaign has been a huge success in increasing awareness of the brand among consumers.

As a result we are now the most recognised insurance price comparison website in the UK.

We are currently recruiting a Credit Control Clerk to work within the comparethemarket.com Finance team, to assist them with their invoicing and debt chasing process and to ensure this is managed accurately and efficiently within specific timescales.

The Role:

• To review the processing of receipts to ensure they are allocated correctly and within the expected timeframes.
• To maintain tight controls around the invoicing and debt management process.
• To ensure all deadlines are met and that the daily aged debt report and back accounts are reconciled.
• To maintain efficient and proactive procedures in order to chase debt and ensure this is in line with the debt policy.

You must be able to demonstrate:

• Good MS Office experience with particularly good experience using Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to be highly organised and efficient.

Previous experience in sales ledger or debt management would be advantageous.
