Our client a Kent based Credit Risk company are looking for a fluent French speaker to fill their immediate vacancy.
£40k per annum plus bonus
PURPOSE OF JOB
v To assist in the assessment of credit risks, and the management of the credit
assessment team. In particular to minimize exposure to bad debt whilst ensuring that Company procedures are strictly adhered to and thus provide a satisfactory service to both Customers and Sales staff.
MAIN DUTIES CREDIT ASSESSMENT
v To assist in the assessment of credit risks, and the management of the credit
assessment section of the Department, in particular, and to generally assist
otherwise in order to ensure the smooth running of the Department as a whole
Job Description:
The Collections Manager sets targets, implements strategies and supports the team members with achieving exceptional performance through inspirational leadership. A Collections Manager has to ensure that all members understand the team’s objectives and works together to achieve it. Constant monitoring by the Collections Manager helps to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal.
The Collections Manager will be expected to formulate strategies to make optimum use of the department’s resources and drive initiatives into the department that will contribute to long-term operational excellence. Whilst taking a strategic overview and planning, the shift manager must also pay attention to the details, setting the example for staff to deliver a standard of service that meets Business Expectations. The shift manager will be expected to monitor dialler campaigns, customer experience, agent performance, challenge department processes and make recommendations for improving efficiency and effectiveness
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform daily verbal team briefs at the start of every shift to ensure that the team are suitably briefed as to the management expectations for that day.
- Management of staff discipline, standards, absence management and formal performance reviews.
- Perform monthly 1-2-1’s with Negotiators providing consistent feedback and support to ensure quality and performance is being maintained.
- Liaise and communicate with other Collections Managers and Senior Management as appropriate.
- Provide an escalation point for the Negotiators and other areas of the business on day-to-day matters.
- Ensure that all Internal Collections and Company policies are adhered to at all times including the Code of Conduct.
- Maintain accurate records and undertake any discussions and enforcement of the Bradford Factor and Tardy Factor.
- Perform return to work interviews at the start of any shift following any absence, sickness or lateness completing the appropriate file notes and report any HR issues to the Head of Internal Collections and/or HR Manager.
- Ensure that all holiday, sickness and absence records are maintained accurately on Ceridian.
- Keep accurate records of payroll matters including any bonus calculations and deductions for poor quality standards.
