Our client is a major city centre based PLC, who are a very well known and respected employer on Merseyside. Due to continued success and expansion, they are searching for an experienced Creative Designer to join their team.
OVERVIEW
The ideal Creative Designer candidate will be a self-starter that has proven ability in creating influential cross-media campaigns that generate response and revenue, with experience of designing print and online adverts.
An all-rounder in the field of graphic design, the Creative Designer will be expected to take initial brief information and determine the optimum creative treatment to maximise response to the advert.
Excellent communication skills are essential in this role as the Creative Designer will be responsible for managing the whole process from initial brief right through to the deal going live across print, email and internet.
KEY TASKS
Design:
• Create influential, spam-friendly HTML email templates using Flash/Dreamweaver
• Produce original, creative, response-driven press adverts using Adobe CreativeSuite
• Design creative, impactful online mpu, leaderboard & skyscraper advertising using Flash/Dreamweaver
General:
• Accurate proofing of all written & design treatments
• Prioritising workload and managing the deal process from initial brief to publication
• Use a dedicated email delivery platform for marketing purposes
• Ensure all online content is uploaded by deadline
• Ensure all print and online advertising is submitted by deadline
• Liaise with sales & admin teams to provide creative support
• Maintain high standard of accuracy
• Hit deadlines for all work produced
• Sourcing and arranging photography
KEY ATTRIBUTES:
• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Graphic Design/Design.
• Proven high levels of creativity
• Strong command of English language
• Excellent written skills
• Strong knowledge of graphic design and advertising
• Experience of using email delivery platforms for marketing purposes (although full training will be provided)
• Good working knowledge of websafe digital artwork
• Fully conversant in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and digital artwork packages
• Excellent time management
• Confident taking responsibility for own workload
• High standard of accuracy
