Cover Supervisors

Education Network are currently recruiting for experienced and aspiring Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of Secondary Schools around the Durham area.

Education Network is passionate about education; we are looking for Cover Supervisors to work under the guidance of teaching staff and the Cover Manager, to support pupils in and out of the classroom. Duties will include the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers. In addition, the successful candidate will also be expected to undertake administrative duties, support and lunchtime duties in school. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and should have a minimum qualification of 5 GCSE's or above. Cover Supervisors should have good communication skills as you will have to liaise between both students and class teachers. The school will rely upon you to make sure all work set is completed to a good standard. In return Education Network will provide you with a dedicated, experienced Consultant who will offer ongoing support once you are working and will assist with future placements.
