My client, a growing business based south of Norwich is looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting time to join a fast paced business.
Job Description
* Production of the weekly costing report:
- Standard gross profit
- Margin analysis
- Sales against budget
- Stock calculations
* Consolidation each weekly report for month end reporting
* Completing stock valuation and analysis
* Calculating import/export duties and logistical costs
* Reviewing invoices against cost calculations
* Completing adjustments ahead of year end
* Liaising with buying and sales teams to confirm figures and provide financial insight/guidance
Person Specification
Successful applicants will have previous experience within Costing and be confident to communicate financial information to non-financial individuals. You will also have excellent advanced excel skills and a keen eye to question figures and to investigate discrepancies. this is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company who are definitely going places.
