Organisation Description
My client a global organisation located in Surrey are looking to recruit a Management Accountant due to growth within the business.
To assist the Financial Controller and Finance Director in providing an effective cost and management accounting and information service and to ensure that accurate and timely accounting information is provided in accordance with the group and statutory accounting procedures and polices. To pro-actively work with other departments to reduce costs / improve productivity & systems .
Job Description
* Improvement in performance reporting, improvements to daily P&L statements.
* Assist with development and roll out of a standard costing system.
* Carry out regular performance review meetings with cell managers – (drive down metrics).
* Develop quarterly forecasting model at departmental level
* Assist with the Implementation & maintenance of the Sarbanes Oxley program.
* Assistance with monthly management accounts production, to tight deadlines, including sales reconciliation, prepayments, accruals, analysis work, project costs and production of management accounts packs for the senior management team.
* Assistance with Sarbanes Oxley quarterly and annual procedures – as required.
* To assist in the monthly review of management information with relevant Business.
* Managers, to ensure a competent understanding of the reports, with the aim of increasing profitability and cash flow of the organisation.
* Ad hoc projects as directed by the demands of the business and the Financial Director.
* To continually strive to improve and simplify procedures and systems
* Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required within the jobholder’s capability consistent with the Terms and Conditions of employment.
