Job Description
Reed Finance have been retained on an exclusive basis to assist a successful Co. Tyrone based company to appoint a permanent Cost Accountant.
The successful candidate will be seconded to another group company, based in England, for the first 6 months before being integrated into the main finance function in Northern Ireland.
Initially reporting to the Head of Finance this newly created role will involve conducting detailed cost analysis of all products to create and maintain a costing database. Using this database and other systems the Cost Accountant will be expected to drive cost efficiencies throughout the business. The successful candidate will work closely with and support the commercial team and get involved in finance related projects as required. The Cost Accountant will also take responsibility for the timely production of all financial statements and filing of returns for this company.
This role would suit a recently qualified accountant with some commercial exposure. Strong IT skills including MS Excel are a must as well as having confident communication skills.
