Job Description
Do you want to work for a market leading an growing manufacturing company? Well I am presently recruiting for such an organisation who are looking to add a part qualified Cost Accountant to their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an excellent starting salary and benefits package, and have the chance to grow and develop within the company.
You will be responsible for;
- Stock accounting – buying policies, valuations, excesses etc
- Reporting on labour, materials and overheads utilisation
- Ensuring all time sheets and job sheets are correctly recorded for costing purposes
- Producing detailed reports on budget variances
- Making recommendations on selling prices of products and reporting to senior management
The ideal candidate for this position will be ATLEAST ACCA/CIMA part qualified, have a experience within a costing environment and be able to communicate effectively to drive changes when necessary. You must be a highly analytical thinker and have a desire to succeed.
