Job Description
Reed Finance have been appointed by a reputable professional services company to recruit for an experienced Corporate Finance Consultant to strengthen their Consultancy team.
Job summary/responsibilities:
This position involves working as part of a team involved in the delivery of consultancy and corporate finance services to a diverse range of private sector clients. The successful applicant will be involved in the delivery of the following services:
1. preparation of business plans and banking proposals;
2. development of financial projections;
3. assisting in the completion of financial reviews and due diligence investigations;
4. assisting with sale and purchase transactions;
5. preparation of feasibility studies for a range of commercial projects;
6. liaison with clients and other professional advisors; and
7. developing and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
Essential requirements:
1. an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification;
2. previous experience in a corporate finance/consultancy department of a professional services firm, or in a similar environment;
3. strong numerate, written and communication skills;
4. high levels of commitment, enthusiasm and initiative;
5. strong organisational skills including the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
6. ability and confidence to deal with clients;
7. good communication skills;
8. ability to work flexibly and on own initiative;
9. ability to work as a team player;
10. good commercial approach to problem solving; and
11. attention to detail.
This client will consider candidates with varying levels of experience as long as it has been gained in a corporate finance / consultancy environment.
