My client, one of UKs most recognisable blue chip Financial Service Groups is urgently seeking an outstanding Assistant Manager for its Corporate Actions Division based in West Yorkshire.
Preferably with a solid track record of working in the Corporate Actions arena of Financial Services your are ideally working in a similar environment and seeking career progression with a recognised leader in the field.
It is essential that you have experience of leading and managing others. You will be acting as a focal point for client liaison when required so strong interpersonal skills allied to outstanding technical knowledge are expected.
You will be dealing with issues emanating from corporate actions e.g. stock splits, M&A activity, rights issues etc; you will undertake reconciliation work and transaction and process analysis. Part of your role will be calculating counterparty risk and Manager level candidates will Compile detailed analysis and reports, sourcing information from internal and external systems in order to create a accurate timeline of events in order to increase the accuracy of clients and the firms books and transactions
You are adept at developing relationships with internal and external parties in order to resolve issues which if left unresolved would impact negatively on the Division’s P&L and reputation. Technically strong and with excellent attention to detail you are a strong communicator effectively both in written and verbal form.
