The parent company of this group is considered one of the largest family owned businesses in the GCC. Established in 1936 the company has continued to grow its portfolio throughout the GCC and are now responsible for over $3.7billion worth of commercial and residential developments.
This particular subsidiary based in Qatar is responsible for the project management of over $6million worth of commercial and residential developments and has been in successful operation since 2004.
Job Description
*Ensure that the contractors for each package adhere to contracts
*Risk managment to ensure project is delivered on time with minimal additional costs to the company
*General daily contract administration duties
*Responsibility for several packages at different stages of construction
Person Specification
Due to the demands and high expectations of this role only applicants who are able to demonstrate the below will be considered.
*At least 15 years contracts experience
*Strong personality with the ability to manage contractors on several packages at once.
*Must be able to work under extreme pressure and deliver good results within time frames agreed.
*Must be able to demonstrate where you have worked on a major residential/commercial development as Contracts Manager within a large organisation and delivered above average results.
*Must have the ability to delegate well yet follow delegations from the Project manager and COO.
