Contract Assurance Officer –Welfare to Work
Location: Solihull
Salary c£26,000

Our client is in the Welfare to Work sector. Reporting to the Contract Assurance Department Manager the responsibilities of this role are to ensure all processes and procedures are in compliant with all areas required for Government Funding by carrying out internal audits.

The role:
Maintaining effective working relationships with all internal departments you will be providing training, support and advice to staff, including, subcontractors in all matters relating to contractual compliance and procedure As well as this you will be carrying out audits on documentation and information to ensure all is in accordance with Company procedures and guidance. You will be identifying and promoting best practice and continuous improvement as well as facilitating improvements. At the same time you will be achieving your own individual objectives which are set by the department Manager.

Experience required
We are seeking someone with previous experience of working in DWP (or equivalent) audit preparation and management of audit visits. Also experience or a good knowledge of working with external accreditations and of Government Funded programmes and supporting guidance/protocols.You will also need excellent communication skills, heaps of self-motivation and the ability to motivate others.

The role will involve travelling to several offices in the Midlands and the north of England therefore it is essential you are a car driver with your own transport..
