Contract Accountant

Qualified Commercial Accountant required for 6 months on going temporary assignment based in Hatfield.

My client is a leading world wide organisation who have an urgent need for a qualified accountant who is also experienced in using Oracle.

Your role will include...

You will manage cash postings and initiate UK and foreign bank payments.
You will also update fixed asset register, prepare data for VAT return and post month end and quarter end journals.

This role will entail performing reconciliations on many balance sheet accounts and other fx (foreign exchange) related Ad Hoc tasks.

Essential skills / experience
Ability to reconcile accounts
VAT return experience
Fixed assets experience
General ledger transaction experience
Bank payments
Payroll transaction experience
Oracle experience
Strong driven individual

It goes without saying that you would have held a similar role in the past and be available for work at very short notice or immediately.
