Continuous Improvement Specialist

Due to further growth and expansion, an exciting new opportunity has arisen at my clients busy manufacturing site. They are seeking to recruit an individual To implement and lead an operational reporting framework and drive continuous improvement across the business   

 Main Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement an operations reporting framework to assess relevant production KPI’s
• Liaise with production managers to gather data daily, analyse, identify key issues and report data at the morning meetings.
• Use the data to drive root causes and corrective actions
• Work with Managing Director to Identify key strategic  improvement projects and Lead and facilitate these projects (e.g. SMED, visual management)
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures for all operations with Quality/Health & safety/Hygiene Manager

To be successful for this position, candidates must have experience of working in an FMCG environment, be experienced in LEAN manufacturing, Have strong analytical skills, be a good communicator both verbally and written and have the ability to coach, motivate and engage with staff at all levels across the business.
