£36,000 to £40,000 plus benefits

Our client are global leaders in the innovation, design, manufacture and supply of high quality products for the construction industry.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Process Quality Manager to ensure the successful implementation of Continuous Improvement Projects and the Management of the Quality Management Systems.

Reporting to the Operations Manager; you will be responsible for delivering projects across a range of areas using lean manufacturing and six sigma techniques. The projects will not be limited to product quality and could include waste reduction projects, improving line efficiency and reducing energy costs.

Development and training of quality staff and project teams will be required whilst the successful candidate must be able to quantify and report benefits and costs associated with projects. 

Although based in Holywell, regular travel between Holywell and Kingscourt, Ireland is crucial so flexibility and a full driving license are required.

This is a challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative individual with strong communication skills, the ability to ask the right questions and challenge the status quo. A high level of IT literacy is essential, strong inter-personal skills in order to work with people from a variety of backgrounds as well as the ability to effectively lead teams. The successful applicant will hold an engineering qualification or equivalent with proven experience and training in continuous improvement techniques such as lean manufacturing and six sigma. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
