Broad content of Role:

This role is responsible for deployment of Connectivity solutions for customers using Minerva, Fidessa's Buy-Side Order Management System and for providing 2nd level support for both the managed FIX Connectivity service ("MCS") and the connectivity components of Minerva. The role will be based in London with occasional travel to client sites, potentially throughout Europe. 

Key Requirements: 

  • Solid understanding of OMS environment configuration and maintenance for FIX trading and issue reproduction: FIX Engine configuration, TCP/IP routing and Windows O/S
  • In-depth knowledge of FIX
  • Experience in deployment / on-boarding of FIX connections
  • Familiarity with XML style message based workflows
  • Experience of working with API/Message based interfaces based on vendor specifications
  • Experience of order management / trading environments
  • Understanding of multiple asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, MM, FX)
  • The ideal candidate would have experience working with Cameron FIX engine
  • A second European language would be beneficial but not essential
