We currently have an exciting opportunity in our London offices for a Configuration Analyst. The main purpose of this role is to provide support to the Project Manager, Account Executive and Sr. Account Executive in the implementation and ongoing support of RiskConsole solutions. As a Configuration Analyst your key responsibilities will include: • Work with Business Analyst to complete client module configuration definitions and modifications. • Complete business rules and validations required for client configurations. • Complete development and testing of custom configuration according to the signed specification and defined coding protocols. • Use a variety of techniques for resolving problems; escalates trouble tickets as necessary to appropriate management and support personnel. • Use a high degree of patience and problem management techniques to solve problems. • Consult solution bases to optimize problem resolution. • Research, resolve, and respond to questions received via telephone calls, emails, and callbacks in a timely manner, in accordance with defined standards. • Answer questions and recommend corrective services to address customer complaints. As a Configuration Analyst your key skills and experience will include: · Experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL coding or SQL Server · Strong knowledge and understanding of relational databases · Strong range of software skills (Access, Excel, scripting languages) to ensure efficiency and effectiveness · Good understanding of the Insurance/Risk Management industry · Cognos Framework Manager · Other Languages useful - Spanish, German, French · Strong interpersonal communications and problem solving · Strong organization skills · Strong oral and written communication skills · Personal time organization · Strong interpersonal/customer relations · Ability to multi-task Salary Competitive salary, 25 days holiday, pension & benefits package About Aon Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC) is the leading global provider of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, human capital and management consulting.
