My client a leading Financial Services Company is currenlty seeking to recruit a Compliance Consultant to work within Compliance Operations. Part of a Global Group of companies, they are a leading financial services organisation with over 25 million customers worldwide.
Job Description
The main puprose of the role will be as follows:
- Providing support to the Company’s UK Business, providing advice on regulatory issues and participating in business projects
- Giving advice to managers on regulatory implications of business and the ability to act in a consultancy capacity
- Respond to regulaory queries and provide pragmatic and compliant solutions
- Support business areas, outside of new business, with regular liaison, advice or involvement in project work
- Keep abreast of all regulaory and industry publications eg FSA, ABI, OSFI to enable an effective advisory service
- Develop and maintain a close and continuous relationship with key stakeholders, promoting a can do attitude and ensuring a positive image of compliance throughout the business
- Notify management of any issues which may affect the business or the clients
- Help support the development of compliant and flexible robust systems and procedures and controls
Person Specification
To be considered you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Possession of a relevant Financial Services Qualification
- Exposure to the financial services products which must be very strong in Pensions
- Practical exposure to applying and interpreting the rules and helping the business to achieve its objectives
Minimum full FPC or equivalent is mandatory coupled with strong Compliance exposure on Pensions
