THE COMPANY:
The Staff Hub is looking to recruit a Compliance Administrator in this interesting and unique role at one of the region's most successful companies.
THE JOB:
The company sits within the training and qualifications sector and this job involves supporting companies who are customers and also supporting the organisation and its customers in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
Duties include:
- Providing support and guidance to companies who are regular customers in terms of assisting them with their compliance and regulatory requirements in all aspects of qualifications and examinations
- Supporting internal colleagues and departments with queries relating to returned assessments and suspected malpractice/mis-administration
- Leading and conducting investigations into potential malpractice incidents, making recommendations and outcomes
- Analysing documents and information for potential evidence of malpractice / mis-administration
- Completing all related administrative tasks and completing all relevant paperwork
- Conducting telephone interviews with learners, collating responses
- Undertaking telephone interviews with clients and tutors relating to investigations
- Responsible for all correspondence, mainly via email but also including webcam/Skype and conference calling
- Producing summary reports of investigations
- Gaining a quick understanding of policy, regulatory requirements and compliance, especially in relation to actions taken following investigation
- Making visits to clients as and when necessary
- Effectively logging and tracking investigation progress, visits and outcomes
- Liaising with other internal departments and keeping relevant parties updated on investigations, including external bodies
To be successful in your application you need to be a strong administrator with a good telephone manner and the confidence to make outbound calls to learners, clients and tutors in order to conduct telephone interviews. You need analytical skills and common sense along with a strong grasp on polices, procedures, regulatory requirements and compliance - working previously in a heavily regulated industry such as financial services will be an advantage. Excellent IT skills are essential - MS Word, Excel and Outlook emails. Any experience of investigatory work is preferred.
