Job Description
Our client, an international player in their field, has appointed Reed Finance to assist in the recruitment of an experienced Group Accountant. Reporting to the Group Financial Director, this challenging role will take responsibility for the full financial cycle of the Group Company including:
• Preparing monthly management accounts and presenting results to department heads
• Preparing year end statutory accounts and supporting audit pack
• Preparing annual budgets in conjunction with department heads and producing a 3 year plan for the Group Company
• In-depth analysis of monthly results including variance against budget
• Developing KPIs to assist with cost analysis and control
• Preparation of regular cash flow forecasts
• Preparation of VAT returns for Group Company and dealing with claims for refunds of EU VAT
• Assisting in the operation of the Group Treasury Function including summarising weekly bank balances
• Assist with financial aspects of projects within Group companies
