What you'll be doing:
- Researching and writing internal news articles
- Editing, sub-editing, design/layout and publishing internal articles using CMS, Sharepoint.
- Filming and editing videos for internal use
- Conducting interviews on video and for internal news articles
- Sourcing images, photo editing and creating graphics to accompany your work
- Planning and executing internal communication and PR plans
- Developing communications across multiple channels including various on-line news communities, print, posters, plasma screens, social media, e-mail newsletters, blogs, intranet sites and YouTube.
- Working with internal stakeholders to get copy approved and signed off
- Planning and promoting internal events
- Ghost-writing blogs, articles and e-mail newsletters for various internal groups
- Building networks across the organisation and determine the best channels to drive traffic to your communications and get others to engage with it.
- Executing digital campaigns using the multiple channels inside
We're looking for a versatile writer who can take "corporate speak" (i.e. highly technical, jargon-laden material) and turn it into an interesting, engaging read.
We're also particularly interested in candidates with video experience.

- Degree in journalism [or similar] is preferred
- Ability to create interesting and relevant content and adapt it for audiences across the company
- Excellent proof reader with incredible attention to detail and accuracy
- Video experience and photo editing experience is a significant bonus!
- A self-starter able to work independently and without direction
- The ability to multitask and work across a portfolio of projects
- Real-life work experience working across print and online publications
- Passion for digital content and an instinct for creating multi-platform approach
- Good diplomacy and communications skills essential
- A hard-working attitude and willingness to pitch in and learn new tasks
- Initiative and creativity to help shape our editorial vision
