Communications Design Engineer

A highly qualified Design Engineer with an excellent understanding of Communication Systems and Signal Processing techniques is sought by an established Communications technology company at their offices in the South West of England.

Applicants must have an excellent academic background ideally with a Masters / PhD in Communications Engineering, Signal Processing, Electronic Engineering or similar scientific subject.

Your technical knowledge will include solid C and assembler coding skills as well as good knowledge of Matlab to compliment your signal processing knowledge, with a particular focus on equalisation, demodulation and error correction.

Personal qualities sought include self-motivation, good organisational and communication skills, the ability to grasp new concepts easily as well as good problem solving skills.
