Job Description
You will be responsible for general ledger accountability and financial/position reporting as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned. Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all accounting data (AP, AR and GL) in SAP. Review the transactions to ensure compliance to all relevant rules and regulations, and to fully understand the Product Line's numbers. Work with team members and Accounting Manager to review and reconcile traders Profit & Loss statements. Daily position reporting and risk monitoring. Monthly/Quarterly Hyperion reporting package. Quarterly SFAS/SEC reporting package. Supervise and provide guidance to a small team.
Person Specification
You are required to have a Degree in Accounting with more than 5-6 years working experience in Commodity Accounting and hands-on experience from the Agribusiness industry. Good communication skills, ability to interact well and communicate with all levels of staff, including senior management. Preferable to have SAP or ITAS or Hyperion experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Independent, team-player, takes initiative and having a positive attitude is necessary to do well in this role.
