The Role
A number of Automation personnel will be assigned as members of the Commission and Start-up group. The selected Candidates will be assigned to a smelter area and participate in commissioning & start-up activities which could be as follows:
• Process plant network testing and support
• I/O testing of PLC applications;
• Pre-operational testing of PLC/HMI applications
• VFD drive setup and configurations
• Cold commissioning of PLC/HMI applications
• Support Client Automation Engineers on Programming Standard
• Support MES requirements
• Implement Factory Talk Asset Centre for change management and PLC access control from start of commissioning into operations
• Mentor Client direct hired automation staff on troubleshooting, programming and control systems maintenance tasks
Qualifications/Experience
• Substantial PLC and HMI programming knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of Ethernet communication
• Good English speaking and writing
• ControlLogix family
• RsLogix 5000
• FtTalk View SE
• Fttalk View ME
