Description
Our client specialises in providing technical resources to the power industry They are a market leader in Voltage Electrical Engineering.

Our client is looking for permanent, full time Commissioning Engineers to work with all equipment involved with network substations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record of working on 400kV electricity substations
• Full training on main suppliers Transmission and Distribution equipment.(e.g. ABB, Alstom, Siemens)
• TP141 National Grid accreditation, though our client will consider applicants who are currently training for the TP141 qualification.
• The ability to work UK wide.
• Flexibility when required

• A good standard of secondary education
• A qualification n a relevant subject - degree or HNC (minimum)

• TP141 accreditation or in training
• National Grid Competent Person
• BESC
• Safety Passport Card or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Commissioning of primary, secondary and peripheral plant
• Making sure that plant is functionally

• Rectifying faults, fault investigation and diagnostics at various voltages.
• Leading assigned commissioning projects
• Acquiring and finalising commissioning documentation
• Supporting other team members with technical guidance
