The Commissioning Executive - (Knowledge Management and Governance) has a similar job purpose to that of the 'Commissioning Executive’. In this specific role there is less emphasis on the end to end relationship management of providers, but greater emphasis on the knowledge management and governance across the team that helps the development of the Provider Strategy and ensures its delivery through consistent management, cohesive protocols, guidance, market intelligence, processes and delegated authorities for Healthcare Partnerships.

We are looking for a good communicator who is articulate and analytically minded for this position. Healthcare background would be advantageous, but not essential.

The Commissioning Executive - Knowledge Management and Governance is accountable for:

Specific Skills

·Ability to understand complex and extensive market data, spot themes and trends and then transform them all into a coherent report.

·Creative and dynamic with an ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to obtain a variety of market intelligence.

·Experience of working under own initiative and as part of a team to deliver an agreed set of multi-dimensional performance objectives.

·Financially articulate with ability to analyse information and identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

·Experience of designing and implementing presentations and reporting of data and intelligence in the context of a procurement (commissioning) or sales environment.

·An appropriate level of experience in Supplier Management, Sourcing and Negotiation (equivalent skills in a customer facing environment will be equally valuable).

Works with a high degree of autonomy with coaching and support from the line manager as needed.

This role should provide intelligence on the following:

·All spend (£1.3bn) across all providers; hospitals, other facilities, doctors, other clinicians

·All Health Care Economies in the UK

·All specialties

·The UK and World Private Healthcare industry
