These are exciting times and as a result of our growth we are now looking to recruit for an experienced Commercial Systems Administrator to join our busy and well established team in Leyland. Responsible for:

  • Concept, design and development overview of system improvements and enhancements
  • Integration of new and existing systems across all areas of the business
  • Provide central and divisional support for users across the business using WorkManager Commercial Management (WMCM) & WorkManager JobCosting (WMJC)
  • Adhering to and producing reports for key performance indicators set within the Commercial Support team.

Job Purpose:

Provide commercial support to Central and Divisional teams. Process DSP/Subcontractor payments, Assist with contract setups and the integration and mobilisation of new and existing systems into all areas of the business, Analysis of contract structures and performance and propose, develop and implement new, innovative, ways to increase efficiency, Produce system specifications to meet the needs of the divisions within the business.

Duties:

  • Adhere to the company Health and Safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
  • Comply with HR and Divisional instructions to ensure the integrity of the company is upheld.
  • Establish system specifications by conferring with users; analysing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing system infrastructure.
  • Attend regular meetings to assess and contribute to the progress of system development and report back to the management team.
  • Interact with users across the business to assist with any issues or queries regarding system usage and offer guidance and support for upcoming system improvements and enhancements.
  • Meet financial requirements by submitting information for cost savings; monitoring expenses, updating and meeting KPI targets.
  • Increase job knowledge and enhance learning by participating in internal and external led courses.
  • Protect organisation's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Accomplish organisational goals by accepting ownership for creating new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job achievements.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for new initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce nonproductive impact within the team.
  • To ensure DSP CIS/contract/insurance information is in place before subcontractor payments are made
  • To authorise DSP Payments following the pre-approved DOA
  • Any other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications:

Job Related

  • Strong and fluid analytical skills via the use of MS Project or similar
  • Financial/Commercial awareness
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Qualifications

  • 5 x GCSE’s grade C and above including Math’s and English
