This exciting and newly-created role would be the perfect entry point to a newly-qualified accountant or analyst into this market-leading business. The commercial team are responsible for profitability and performance within the customer portfolio, including tracking product performance, monthly forecasting and identifying further opportunities.
Responsibilities will include:
* Commercial analysis by customer and market sector to understand and predict behaviour patterns
* Compare base performance to forecasted expectation and analyse variances
* Build and run a suite of KPI's for senior management
* Build strong relationships with other business areas (operations, marketing, finance, compliance, IT) to raise the customer profile internally

The successful candidate will be a strong analyst, ideally with a degree in a numerical discipline. Proficiency in Access, Excel and Oracle BI would be very advantageous.

Our client is a market-leading retail business, a household name.

Basic salary to £33,000 plus car / car allowance (value c.£4000), bonus (10%), BUPA and pension. In addition, the business has a proven track record in offering fantastic progression opportunities to employees, so it is unlikely that if successful you would be in this role for long.
