Financial Analyst

Salary - £55k plus bonus and benefits.

A leading global marketing business is seeking to hire a qualified analyst to work closely with the sales and senior management teams to support the decision making business. 

Duties and responsibilities:

• Working with Sales and Operational teams to provide financial analysis and business planning advice as required.
• Reviewing business cases and ensuring their financial viability.
• Financial appraisal of new initiatives, revenue streams etc.
• Providing detailed analysis on revenue/sales vs. forecast and providing explanations for any variances.
• Recommending courses of action based on sound financial principles to further the success of the business.
• Assisting with any M&A activity and Due Diligence as required.
• Developing financial models to be used as costing, business planning, and financial analysis tools.
• Ad hoc reporting as directed and required.
• Project accounting and work as required.

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified Accountant.
• An experienced Management Accountant or Financial Analyst.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience.
• An advanced user of Excel.
• A strong communicator and experienced in conversing with non-finance staff.
• Confident and outgoing.
• Highly organised, and able to manage time effectively.
